About the Long-term Japanese Program
The Long-Term Japanese Course, eligible for a student visa, is a step towards your new life in Japan. It is a course reviewed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (to be noted upon certification) and is designed for students who want to acquire the comprehensive Japanese language skills and Japanese cultural understanding necessary to work in Japan.

Required Level to Apply:
- Practical Japanese & Career Readiness – 1 year: Japanese language ability of CEFR A1 (JLPT N5) or higher
- Advanced Japanese & Career Growth – 1 year: Japanese language ability of CEFR B1 (JLPT N3) or higher.
Practical Japanese & Career Readiness – (1 year)
This level is ideal for Japanese learners with little experience studying Japanese
This course is for those just starting out or with a basic foundation in Japanese. In one year, you’ll gain the essential communication skills to navigate daily life and begin using Japanese in simple professional settings. We’ll give you the confidence you need to take the first step towards your career goals in Japan.

This course is designed for learners with a solid foundation in Japanese (JLPT N3 level) who are ready to take their skills to the next level. We focus on advanced communication, academic proficiency, and professional skills. Our goal is to prepare you to thrive in Japan, whether you plan to join a university, start your career, or simply deepen your integration into Japanese society.

- Can exchange opinions logically and appropriately in advanced situations such as workplace meetings or client interactions, taking the other party’s perspective into account.
- Can present their ideas with supporting reasons and deliver advanced presentations involving proposals or negotiations.

Internal Transfer (Practical Course → Advanced Course)
Students enrolled in the Practical Course may apply for an internal transfer to the next level, the Advanced Course.
Conditions for Transfer
An internal transfer will be approved only if all of the following conditions are met:
- There is availability in the Advanced Course
- The student is deemed to have no issues in completing the course and progressing, based on a comprehensive evaluation of academic performance, attendance, and learning attitude
Important Notes
- One term’s tuition must be paid at the time of application, and thereafter will be handled in accordance with the school’s regulations.
- In principle, transfers are conducted in accordance with academic term boundaries. As the transfer may affect the duration or conditions of your residence status (visa), it may not always be possible to accommodate your request.

*A full-year (12-month) price. The total tuition fee does not cover any costs related to extending your period of stay in Japan. Even if you apply for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for a one-year study period, immigration may only grant a six-month period of stay. If this happens, you will need to apply for an extension while studying in Japan.

FAQ
Are short-term programs available?
Short-term courses are available, but only the 1-year program includes student visa support.
Are beginner classes available?
Applicants must already have basic Japanese (around JLPT N5). Absolute beginners are encouraged to start with online courses before applying.
What textbooks are used?
Courses use established textbooks such as Genki, Dekiru Nihongo, Kanji Tamago, business Japanese materials, newspapers, and original materials.
How many students are in each class?
Classes typically have 10–16 students.
What is the average timeline for JLPT levels?
- N5: 3–6 months
- N4: 6–12 months
- N3: 1.5–2 years
- N2: Around 2 years
Is the 150-hour Japanese study requirement mandatory?
Yes. This is an immigration requirement that requires you to provide a certificate of completion for your 150-hour Japanese language program. Self-study alone is not accepted.
Can I change my course length after enrolling?
In specific cases, students may apply to extend their studies from the 1-year Practical Japanese course to the Advanced course, subject to attendance, grades, availability, and internal review.
Is job-hunting support provided?
Formal job placement is not provided, but career guidance sessions, individual advice, and introductions to job boards and agents are offered during enrollment.
What are the class hours?
Depending on your level, classes start in either the morning or the afternoon. Morning class starts from 9:15 am to 12:35 pm. Afternoon class runs from 1:35 pm to 4:55 pm.
Does the JPY 1,000,000 tuition fee include residence status extension costs?
No. The tuition fee does not cover any costs related to extending your period of stay in Japan. Even if you apply for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for a one-year study period, immigration may only grant a six-month period of stay. If this happens, you will need to apply for an extension while studying in Japan. We recommend budgeting for this possibility separately from your tuition fee.
Will the school help me with student visa extension?
If your residence card is issued for a period shorter than the one-year study period, or if you need to extend your period of stay, the school may support you in preparing and gathering the necessary documents from our side. However, any costs associated with extending your period of stay must be covered by the individual student. Please check the latest information from the Ministry of Justice regarding the revised residence permit fees.
