About the Long-term Japanese Program
The Long-Term Japanese Course, eligible for a student visa, is a step towards your new life in Japan. It is a course reviewed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (to be noted upon certification) and is designed for students who want to acquire the comprehensive Japanese language skills and Japanese cultural understanding necessary to work in Japan.

Are short-term programs available?
Short-term courses are available, but only the 1-year program includes student visa support.
Are beginner classes available?
Applicants must already have basic Japanese (around JLPT N5). Absolute beginners are encouraged to start with online courses before applying.
What textbooks are used?
Courses use established textbooks such as Genki, Dekiru Nihongo, Kanji Tamago, business Japanese materials, newspapers, and original materials.
How many students are in each class?
Classes typically have 10–16 students.
What is the average timeline for JLPT levels?

Is the 150-hour Japanese study requirement mandatory?
Yes. This is an immigration requirement. Self-study is acceptable if clearly documented.
Can I change my course length after enrolling?
In specific cases, students may apply to extend their studies from the 1-year Practical Japanese course to the Advanced course, subject to attendance, grades, availability, and internal review.
Is job-hunting support provided?
Formal job placement is not provided, but career guidance sessions, individual advice, and introductions to job boards and agents are offered during enrollment.
